Otherwise known as, Witches Taper,/Hecates Torch. The oldest text traces these traditional torches back to Ancient Rome when the Romans would dip mullein stalk in tallow and they would light them to usher the dead into the afterlife.
Nowadays, these are used for ceremonial or ritualistic purposes, to purify sacred spaces, connect with our ancestors, especially when the veil is thin during Samhain and Winter Solstice.
These torches are made in Oregon with local foraged Mullein,local beeswax and topped with local foraged flowers all created by my Sister, Alexandria.
***Please use caution while burning these, they must be in a well ventilated area, and in a heat proof dish as they are naturally smokey, and the wax drips quickly.
